A new year brings new changes to the West Chester Fire Department. We welcome a new Fire Chief, Steve Pelna and Assistant Fire Chief, Justin McClure. They both join the leadership team which includes Mark Scanlon and Mike DiMeo who hold the rank of Assistant Fire Chiefs.
Additionally, we welcome new line officers in the following positions:
- Billy Ronanye - Captain
- John Morris – Lieutenant
- Chris Simpkins – Lieutenant
- Liam Pierson – Lieutenant
- Tanner Crum – Lieutenant
- Andrew Fitzgerald – Lieutenant
- Rob Rawley - Lieutenant
The West Chester Fire Department is 100% volunteer and serves the citizens of West Chester Borough, as well as portions of West Goshen, East Bradford, Westtown, Birmingham and Thornbury Townships.
We would like to especially thank Jon Stafford for his service as Fire Chief the last three years and the countless hours he has dedicated to the West Chester Fire Department during his 25 year tenure.
