The West Goshen Park Summer Concert Series returns to Community Park on Sunday, June 27th with a special concert for children by Lolly and Yoyo. This high energy duo will have kids singing, dancing, and playing along with lead performers Lolly Hopwood and Yoyo Kusters.
The biweekly Concert Series continues on Sunday, July 11th with a visit to New Orleans with James Day and the Fish Fry. Party Louisiana-style to the sounds of Cajun and Zydeco music along with other favorites from the Big Easy.
Bring your dancing shoes to Community Park on Sunday, July 25th as Swing That Cat will have you jumping, jiving, and wailing to an evening of swing favorites.
Wilson Lambert’s Blue Philly Magic return to West Goshen Community Park with their unmatched harmonizing of Motown classics on Sunday, August 8th.
The Summer Concert Series concludes on Sunday, August 22nd with La Tierra Caliente. Take a musical tour of Latin America with beats guaranteed to get your heart…and your feet…moving.
All concerts begin at 6:30 PM at the J. Leon Hagerty Amphitheater at West Goshen Community Park, and are FREE OF CHARGE. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring dry good donations (e.g., soap, toilet paper, shampoo, diapers, deodorant, laundry detergent, etc.) for the West Chester Food Cupboard. In the event of rain, concerts will be held at the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall at West Chester University, 700 S. High Street.
