The 2023 Summer Recreation Program
Children between the ages of five and twelve are invited to join us outdoors for lots of supervised fun with our Summer Recreation Program! Our program offers an enjoyable combination of structured outdoor activities and free play in a safe and fun environment supervised by our adult counselors.  The program is held weekday mornings between 9 am and 12 noon at Barker Park, Coopersmith Park and West Goshen Community Park. The program beginning on Tuesday, June 20th and concluding on Friday, August 11th. Participants will have opportunities to play sports and games, enjoy the playground and explore nature while having the opportunity to make crafts and to attend field trips. Come out and enjoy the summer with us!

Our counselors (age 18+) are first aid / cpr certified and undergo three separate background checks. Full registration has a counselor ratio of 1:10 however most days it is around 1:6 or so with some kids on vacation.

Our eight weekly field trips include ice skating, bowling, movies, swimming and visits to family fun centers. Field trips require and additional fee of approximately $15 – 20 a trip.

The program will not be in session on Monday, June 19th or Tuesday, July 4th. There is not any before or aftercare offered. Non – residents are $300 per child. West Goshen residents have a priority registration period of two weeks before we invite non -residents to join.

Summer Rec Program Registration: We are currently working on our new online registration system. We will begin registration for our programs in late April. West Goshen residents will have priority registration for our 2023 program. Families residing outside of West Goshen Township may register as space allows per park location after the initial resident registration period. Updated registration information (dates and times) will be posted here in the near future. 

Registration Fees: The rates for West Goshen families are as follows for the eight - week program:

One West Goshen family member $200
Second West Goshen family member: $150
Each additional West Goshen family member: $100

Non - Residents: Families not residing in West Goshen Township are invited to register as space allows for each park location. Registration date for non-residents will be posted in the future. The rate per child is $300 for the eight week program.
