1. Do we have fluoride in our water?

The water for the Township is serviced by Aqua PA, which fluoridates its water. If you would like further information, please call Aqua PA at 877-987-2782.

2. Occasionally, I will see colored markings along the road. What do these markings signify?

The following markings are for underground utilities:

• Blue: water
• Green: sewer
• Orange: communications/cable television
• Pink: temporary survey markings
• Purple: reclaimed water, irrigation and slurry lines
• Red: electric
• White: proposed excavation
• Yellow: gas / oil

3. Does the Township have any ordinances regarding barking dogs?

The West Goshen Township Code prohibits continuous barking by dogs. Please see the Township’s Code on Barking Dogs to learn more.

4. Who do I have to contact before digging on my property?

Call the Pennsylvania One Call system at 811, 3 to 10 business days before starting large excavation projects, such as those that require powered equipment. Visit the Pennsylvania 811 website for more information.
