All Your Questions about West Goshen Harvest Festival Answered

When is the West Goshen Harvest Festival? West Goshen Township celebrates the Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 22nd between 2:00 and 4:00 PM.

Where is the West Goshen Harvest Festival celebration? The Harvest Festival will take place at West Goshen Community Park (Fern Hill Road and N. Five Points Road).

What activities will children be able to enjoy at the Harvest Festival? Children 12 and under can get a pumpkin to decorate and bring home and enjoy the giant slide, moonbounce, and obstacle course. Children’s musicians from Makin’ Music will also be present to entertain kids.

Will there be fun things for the rest of the family to participate in? Yes!  Families can enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin patch, guess the weight of West Goshen’s largest pumpkin for prizes, bring old clothes and make a scarecrow for the Scarecrow Contest, and enjoy snacks and apple juice.

How much does it cost to attend the Harvest Festival? The Harvest Festival is FREE OF CHARGE! Guests are encouraged to bring the following items for the Coatesville Area Veterans’ Hospital:  Individual toothbrushes, men’s sweatshirts, toothpaste, deodorant, and baseball caps.  Additional dry good items will be accepted for the West Chester Food Cupboard.

Do I have to live in West Goshen Township to participate in the Harvest Festival? Yes. Participants must reside in West Goshen Township.

Do I need to register in advance to attend the Harvest Festival? The West Goshen Park and Recreation Department encourages participants to register online by Friday, October 20th so we may have a good idea of how many people to plan for.

Will I miss the Eagles game if I attend? No! The Eagles play at 8:20 that evening, so you can enjoy the festival and still get home in plenty of time for kickoff.  The Sixers, Flyers, and Union also are not scheduled to play that day.

What about the Phillies? Hopefully, they are still playing that time of year! As of yet, we don’t know their playoff schedule.
