Tinamarie is no stranger to working with West Goshen Township administration and residents and has volunteered on several committees prior to her appointment to the Board of Supervisors. Given her volunteer experience in combination with an environmental career of 40 years, Tinamarie is well prepared for her new position on the West Goshen Township Board of Supervisors.
Tinamarie was originally introduced to the West Goshen Township Board of Supervisors through her husband who has been on the Park and Recreation Board for about 25+ years where she helped him on community events. She is currently serving on Sewer Authority and for 5 years has been working on a major Township project to upgrade the failing 60 year old sewer infrastructure. In addition, she has been on the Sustainability Advisory Committee for two years and also was involved in the interview committee for the hiring of the current Chief of Police.
With so much experience with the Township administration already, Tinamarie is very excited to continue to work with them. “I am most excited about really working with the great and extremely dedicated staff. They are a pleasure to work with and are very committed. They would do anything for the township. The fabulous groundwork has already been laid down for us to perform our jobs to serve the community easier. “
Tinamarie is most excited to share her extensive expertise in environmental issues with the township and its residents. She has had an environmental career for the past 40 years. From environmental engineering to technical consulting, to emergency response, to environmental training, to being an environmental technical consultant.
“I want to use my extensive expertise in environmental issues to help the community. I feel as though I can make a difference to the community from an environmental standpoint.”
Tinamarie has been a longtime West Goshen resident, residing in West Goshen for 56 years with her husband and two sons; she has an affinity for the Township. She is grateful to all of her mentors who helped her to get where she is and hopes to give back to the Township because of this.
“I love living in West Goshen and serving West Goshen Township residents. I have lived here for a long time and I love this township. It is my time to give back to the community.”
We thank Tinamarie for her commitment to the borough and welcome her to the Board of Supervisors.
