We have some areas of the township where the trees have grown out into the roadway and are an obstruction to our plow trucks in the winter.
In order to clear the snow to the curb our trucks have to run right along the curb line and low hanging trees, especially weighted down with snow and ice will damage the truck.
The township will be taking delivery of a new street sweeper this September, depending on supply issues. That truck drive along the curb lines of the township to keep the streets clean. It will be subject to damage from the trees as well.
